| Messiah Academy will seek to constantly review its curriculum to ensure that the highest quality materials available are used. The educational approach of the curriculum used will balance mastering basic skills, understanding concepts, developing reasoning skills, and nurturing Christ-like character; all for use in a real world context.
Messiah Academy purposes to challenge each student to achieve his or her utmost potential with rigorous academics, positive social relationships, Christian moral values and physical growth opportunities.
Messiah Academy believes in a Quest for Excellence™ in all areas that define a well-rounded, Christian-oriented education. Whether it is in the classroom, the lab, the athletic arena or other forum for learning, the highest standards are Messiah’s aim.
Quality education at Messiah means accepting learners mentally, spiritually, physically and academically as they have been created. It means teaching students at their individual level of understanding and providing instruction at a pace at which they can succeed to their highest potential.
For a quantitative perspective, Messiah Academy has adopted a measure of excellence called the Expected School-wide Learning Results
Five Expected School-wide Learning Results:
- A personal understanding of the Christian faith and values as found in the Bible and reflected in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ
- Verbal, written, and technological skills for effective communication
